Key Dates for State Council October 2020
Under the Rules all motions are due to be submitted to the CEO no later than 21 April 2020. Early motions, received by 6 April, will be distributed to MAV representatives on 14 April (i.e. five weeks before State Council).
Councils may amend their motions up to three weeks before the State Council meeting by emailing the amended motions to Lauren Trani, Executive Assistant to CEO & President, by email no later than 24 April 2020.
The business papers for State Council will be emailed to MAV Representatives on Friday 1 May 2020.
MAV Representatives
Each member council can appoint a representative to attend State Council meetings, exercise their council’s vote and provide regular reports to their council on our activities. A List of Current MAV Representatives is found on our website here.
If your council’s MAV Representative or Substitute Representative is not able to attend, your council may resolve to appoint another councillor to attend the meeting and vote. In order for any councillor representative to be entitled to vote, a Notification of Appointment Form must be completed and forwarded to the MAV prior to the State Council meeting, preferably no later than 48 hours prior.
